Travel & Stay

All wedding events will be taking place at Willow Witt Ranch

Getting here

The closest airport is Medford, which is about a 30 minute drive from Ashland.

Ashland is about 6 hours in the car from San Francisco and 5 hours in the car from Portland.

If you’re driving up from San Francisco, our favorite pit spot is The Olive Pit – which is about halfway! They have clean bathrooms and yummy olives and snacks :-) The town of Mt. Shasta is also a great place to stop. Be sure to visit Moonrise Canyon, a great vintage store right downtown and fill up your water bottle at the Sacramento River Headwaters.

If you’re driving down from Portland, we love to stop in Eugene — particularly a little hip strip that includes Mountain Rose Herbs (for herbal apothecary needs), Down to Earth (a great home goods store), a hipster coffee shop and the most well-curated vintage store in all the land.

Bed and Breakfast

There are so many cute little inns in Ashland. Find the suite that suits your fancy here.

Exploring Ashland

Ashland is a cute little town with lots of cafes and shops downtown. It’s famous for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Our wedding is at Willow Witt Ranch, a historic ranch dedicated to stewarding the unique ecosystem in the Cascade Siskiyou National Monument. There’s endless hiking and some good swim spots right here in the monument!

Hike.

Grizzly Peak is just 2 miles from the venue. It’s a 5.5 mile loop trail with beautiful wildflowers and great views.

Cafe.

This little town has epic cafes! Bloomsbury Blends is in a bookshop, Hither has hipster avocado toast, and Rogue Valley Roasting Co is a local fave.

Swim.

We love to swim at Little Hyatt Reservoir. And the Pacific Crest Trail runs right through it so you can take a dip after a hike.

Winery.

There’s great wine here. Think Napa without the fan faire. Check out the best of Ashland wineries. Belle Fiore is in a Chateau down the road from the venue.

Bike.

Whether you prefer road biking or gravel riding, this area is a hotspot! Ask Isaak for route recommendations.

Spa.

Jackson Wellsprings is a hippie’s heaven and the best bang for your buck (plus there’s a mikvah!). Cho Zu is super zen and also has a teahouse.

Farmer’s Market.

The Saturday morning farmers market in Ashland is a nice scene with delicious produce. Pairs well with a stroll through Lithia Park.

Shop.

Elder for apothecary and tonic needs, Three Penny Mercantile for fun vintage scores, Get N Gear for deals on outdoors gear, and Bestow for cute cacti and houseplants.
