We've heard from many of you that this event will be the largest that most of us will attend in 2020 or 2021 — it certainly is for us! We'd be remiss if we neglected to address the unbearably large elephant in the room.

While we ask that everyone attending the wedding be vaccinated, the fact is, we can't guarantee nor can we be held responsible for anyone's safety. Please, take the steps necessary to protect yourself. There will be no one at the wedding in charge of your safety but you.

For instance- the bride and the groom will be vaccinated, unmasked, and ready to party. Come up and give us a hug or a pinch on the cheek. Please be mindful that others may not feel that way, and be sure to practice good communication around touching. Do what you need to do for your comfort- if you need to twerk on the side of the dance floor, do your thing, hot stuff! If you want to wear a mask, go right ahead.

The good news is that this event is entirely outside. Your food will be lovingly prepared in a screened-in, open-air kitchen. Once you get out of your car, you'll be in the great outdoors the whole time (and please for the 8th time don't wear high heels). That alone makes this much safer than your trip to costco with everyone's noses hanging out of their face masks. Oy, these people!

The one thing to keep in mind is that guests will be seated at communal tables for the dining during the weekend. If this doesn't work for you, please let us know. If there is any other special arrangement that can be made, we'll do our best to accommodate you. Just remember we'll be outdoors and vaccinated! We can't wait to see you all soon!
